It measures 17 cm in height, 17 cm in width and 21 cm in depth as a small model, 29.9 cm in height, 17 cm in width and 17.5 cm in depth as a medium model, 48 cm in height, 17 cm in width and 17.5 cm in depth as a large model, takes 1 E27 bulb and comes in 2 finishes, black marble and white marble.

A cage wall sconce in matte black metal

The structure of this cage wall sconce is made of steel, in a matte black finish. It forms a frame around the bulb, which remains visible and is part of the object's design. The light passes freely between the uprights.

The knurled details bear the cross knurling, called Cross, a crisscross relief that the brand applies to its pieces. They too are in matte black, to keep a restrained line. The whole has character, whether switched on or off.

Square or rectangular wall sconce: 3 sizes

The small model is a cage that is square from the front, 17 cm on each side, with a depth of 21 cm. Its compact size lets it find its place in a room of any dimension, even on a narrow section of wall.

The medium model is the versatile size of the family. This rectangular wall sconce is taller than it is wide: it measures 29.9 cm in height, 17 cm in width and projects 17.5 cm from the wall.

The large model measures 48 cm in height, 17 cm in width and 17.5 cm in depth. Narrow and elongated, it emphasizes the verticality of the room and calls for a wall with some height. It finds its place where a compact wall sconce would go unnoticed.

Marble wall sconce: black or white?

The back of this marble wall sconce is a polished marble panel, placed behind the bulb. Marble is a natural stone: its veining varies from one slab to another. Two wall sconces are therefore never quite identical.

The black marble version gives an entirely dark light fixture, where the cage and the back echo each other. The white marble version creates a sharp contrast: the black structure stands out against the pale stone. In the 2 cases, the cage remains matte black.

The back panel is interchangeable, the brand designed it so that it can be replaced. Marble is also a dense material. So plan for a solid support and suitable fasteners.

Which E27 bulb for the Caged wall sconce?

The wall sconce takes 1 LED E27 bulb of 5 W maximum, which is not included. As the bulb remains visible, its appearance matters as much as its light. For a series of wall sconces, keep the same bulb throughout.

Buster + Punch pairs each size with one of its bulbs, sold separately. The small model showcases the Punch Bulb Puck, a small puck-shaped LED bulb, placed facing the room. The medium model is shown with the Buster Bulb E27, and the large model was designed for the Buster Bulb Tube, a tubular LED bulb.

The wall sconce works with a dimmer, provided you choose a dimmable bulb. These 3 bulbs exist in a dimmable version and in a non-dimmable version. The dimmer is not included.

Where should you install this black wall sconce?

This black wall sconce can be installed alone, as the centerpiece of a wall. It can also be lined up in a series, at regular intervals, or arranged at staggered heights. It suits a living room, a dining room, a bedroom, an office, a kitchen, a hallway or a stairwell.

The small model can also be surface-mounted on the ceiling: the same cage then serves as a small ceiling light. On the same wall, you can combine several sizes, or another wall sconce from the range, the Caged in extra large model. In that case, keep the same marble finish across the whole wall, for a coherent whole.

The light fixture is rated IP20, so it is reserved for dry rooms. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. The fasteners are not included: they are chosen according to the type of support. For maintenance, switch off the power, then wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.

Frequently asked questions about the Caged wall sconce

Which bulb do you need for the Caged wall sconce?

One LED E27 bulb of 5 W maximum.
