Its diameter stays constant while three heights let you choose the visual presence you want. This creation by Jean-Luc Alfonsi is made in France for Piatoni from FSC-certified wood. The variants offered here keep a natural finish, which pairs the visible character of the wood with a vertical, graphic design.

What specifications should you know before buying?

The dimensions of the lamp are as follows: S: Ø 19 cm × height 30 cm; M: Ø 19 cm × height 39 cm; L: Ø 19 cm × height 56 cm. All three sizes keep the same diameter; only the height changes. Choose the one that best balances your furniture, keeping free space around the structure.

This E27 lamp runs on 220 to 240 V, with an IP20 rating. The bulb is not included and its wattage must not exceed 57 W. This value is a limit, not a constant consumption. The supplied cable measures 1.80 m according to Piatoni technical data.

The structure is cut from a 5-ply okoume panel with oak veneer, then protected with a VOC-free oil. The lamp is delivered flat and assembles without tools. Its cable, in natural linen or black cotton depending on the finish, is fitted with a switch. In sizes S and M, the whole lamp weighs 1.25 kg.

Where should you install the Tjinkwe Fråd table lamp?

The small size can become a bedside lamp when the furniture offers a stable, clear surface. The medium size suits a console or a side table, while the tallest brings a strong presence to a sideboard. Measure the space available above the furniture and around the lamp. The choice of height responds to the decorative composition as much as to the constraints of the location.

A wooden lantern lamp lets you create an ambient point near a sofa or in an entryway. Combine its lighting with the other sources in the room rather than expecting a fixed, universal brightness from it. For reading or working, add a task-directed light if necessary. The color temperature and the intensity depend on the bulb, chosen separately.

How do you install the Piatoni Tjinkwe Fråd table lamp?

Setting up on a stable surface

To put this vertical accent lamp into service, choose a flat, dry surface, then follow the Piatoni instructions for unfolding the wood. Fit a compatible bulb with the lamp unplugged and arrange the cable to avoid any pulling. The version sold here is intended to be placed on a surface, not hung. The large sizes require particular attention to the stability of the surface.

To care for this Piatoni wooden lamp, unplug it and let the bulb cool before dusting gently with a dry cloth. Support the lamp when moving it and do not pick it up by the openings in the wood. Keep convenient access to the bulb. The choice of a replacement model must respect the specifications indicated, without assuming a dimming function.

The advantages of the Piatoni Tjinkwe Fråd table lamp

The Tjinkwe Fråd table lamp brings together several strengths. Its FSC-certified wood and its manufacture in France give it a clear origin. Its design by Jean-Luc Alfonsi remains decorative even with the light off. Its standard E27 base lets you choose the bulb freely, and therefore the intensity and warmth of the light. It plugs into an outlet, with no wall or ceiling installation. Finally, its three heights allow it to be adapted precisely to the available space.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0574/3299/8057/files/lampe-poser-tjinkwe-frad-piatoni-lanterne-bois-fsc-brun-clair-105.webp?v=1791209257
