It measures 10 cm in length, 12 cm in width and 10 cm in height, takes a G9 bulb and comes in 14 colors.

A square wall sconce with vertical flutes

Riff is based on a very simple square shape. This square wall sconce draws its character from its vertical flutes, tight and precise. They create a structure in relief on the metal. The light draws regular lines of shadow on it.

This relief makes the sconce decorative, whether lit or off. It serves both as a light source and as a decorative detail. Its modern, minimalist style suits clean, uncluttered interiors.

With 12 cm in width and 10 cm in height, it keeps a compact format. It fits next to a mirror or between 2 frames. It also suits a small section of wall.

A matte aluminum sconce, in 14 colors

Riff is made of matte powder-coated aluminum. This aluminum sconce does not shine and lets the color express itself. The flutes stand out all the better under a raking light. A dry cloth is enough to remove dust.

The range has 14 colors. White, beige and taupe create a tone-on-tone effect on a light wall. Black and brown draw a sharp silhouette, visible from afar.

Sage, azure blue, pink and yellow bring a soft note. Red, ochre red, burgundy, ultramarine and olive green are more intense. You can pick up a shade already present in the room. A cushion, a rug or a painted door then serves as a reference.

Wall lighting directed downward

Riff lights downward. This wall lighting runs down the wall and marks the area below the sconce. It complements the light of the ceiling light. In the evening, it creates a calmer mood.

You choose the color of the light with the bulb. A warm white suits a bedroom or a living room. A neutral white is better suited to a hallway used for passing through.

In a series, keep the same bulb on all the sconces. The light then stays identical from one point to the next. The fluted pattern, repeated at equal distances, sets the rhythm of the wall.

Where to install this sconce for a hallway or bedroom?

In an entryway, this hallway sconce can be installed alone or in a series. Aligned, 3 or 4 sconces guide your steps along the wall. Their small size does not obstruct the passage.

In a bedroom, this wall sconce goes on each side of the bed. In a living room, it frames a bookcase or a sofa. In a dining room or a kitchen, it highlights a sideboard or a shelf.

Riff takes 1 LED G9 bulb of 8 W maximum, not included. The light fixture is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. For maintenance, switch off the power, then dust the flutes with a soft, dry cloth.

Frequently asked questions about the Riff wall sconce

Which bulb does the Riff wall sconce need?

A G9 LED bulb of 8 W maximum.
