Sculptural and luminous, this hand-blown glass wall sconce draws a circle of light on the wall. The Grace, by Elements Lighting, brings together a domed glass disc and a slim gold metal collar. Available in two sizes and eleven shades, it gives character to a living room, a bedroom, a hallway or a reception area.
A blown glass disc ringed with gold metal
The glass of the Grace is shaped by hand and shows slight irregularities that make each piece one of a kind. Delicately textured, it catches the light and turns it into vibrant reflections, highlighted by the gold collar.
The palette ranges from clear glass to precious tones: pink, blue, green, gray, orange, white, red or golden. Two additional finishes, gold and hematite, are reserved for the large size. Enough to compose a decor in your own image, in a single shade or a mix.
Thanks to its relief and circular shape, this decorative wall sconce subtly changes appearance depending on the surrounding light. When natural light crosses the room, the nuances of the glass reveal their details. Once switched on, it becomes a luminous feature in its own right, whose reflections add depth to the decor.
Two sizes to suit every wall
The small Grace measures 20 cm in diameter by 10.5 cm in depth and weighs 0.8 kg. Discreet, it slips into a hallway, an entryway or on each side of a bed, and lends itself to arrangements of several units.
The large Grace measures 28 cm in diameter by 14 cm in depth and weighs 1.4 kg. With more presence, it creates a strong point of light above a console table, a sofa or a fireplace. The two sizes can echo each other on the same wall.
The choice of diameter depends on the available surface and the desired effect. In a compact room, the small Grace wall sconce adds a luminous touch without overloading the wall. The large model is better suited to generous spaces, where its glass disc can be fully showcased. Combining the two sizes also makes it possible to create an original visual rhythm.
A gold-crown bulb included
Each wall sconce comes with its gold-crown LED bulb: a 6 W E14 base for the small size, a 7 W E27 base for the large one, which accepts up to 15 W. Placed at the center of the disc, the bulb sends the light back toward the glass, which casts a circular halo on the wall.
The Grace runs on 220-240 V, is not dimmable and has an IP20 protection rating, for indoor installation.
The design of this glass LED wall sconce favors decorative lighting that complements the volumes of the room. The domed disc helps diffuse the light and create plays of reflections on the wall surface. It can thus supplement the main lighting while adding a warm ambiance, particularly welcome in relaxation areas.
How to install the Grace wall sconce
It connects to an electrical supply point and, as a Class I light fixture, must be grounded. It can also be mounted on the ceiling, as a ceiling light, depending on the layout of the room.
In a pair, it frames a headboard or a mirror. In a composition, several wall sconces of different sizes and shades form a wall decor that is much appreciated in hotels and restaurants. Supplied with its bulb, it lights up as soon as it is installed, and a dry cloth is all it takes to care for the glass. It pairs with the Grace pendant lights and lamp for overall harmony.
For a harmonious installation, it is advisable to adapt the height of this blown glass wall sconce to the use of the room. In a hallway, it can punctuate a wall at regular intervals. In a bedroom, a symmetrical arrangement on each side of the bed creates a balanced composition. Above a console table, it naturally draws the eye and enhances the decorative objects placed nearby.
A decorative wall sconce to personalize living spaces
With its different shades and two sizes, the Grace by Elements Lighting offers many layout possibilities. It can be used on its own to create a refined point of light or combined with several units to compose a more expressive wall installation. The contrast between the textured glass and the gold metal allows it to fit just as well into a contemporary interior as into a more classic decor.
In a living room, it complements natural materials and furniture with clean lines. In an entryway, it adds a welcoming first decorative touch. Multicolored compositions also find their place in professional settings, especially hotels, restaurants and reception venues that want to assert an original visual identity.
Blown glass, gold collar and circular halo: this Grace wall sconce turns the wall into a canvas of light, in small and large sizes alike.
