A ring in 60 or 80 cm diameter

The Rim by Maytoni comes in 60 or 80 cm in diameter, with a total height adjustable from 40 to 120 cm. Its steel and aluminum structure comes in black for a graphic look, or in gold for a precious touch. The small model suits a round table for four people or a bedroom; the large one dresses a family table or the center of a living room.

An integrated LED spread around the entire perimeter

The integrated LED in warm white at 3000 K delivers 37 W and 2200 lumens in the small size, 51 W and 3000 lumens in the large. The light is spread around the whole ring, which lights the table evenly with no hot spots or shadowed areas. Enough to light a room on its own. No bulb is needed. It has an IP20 rating, for indoor use, and its installation must be entrusted to a professional.

How to choose and install the Rim pendant light

Choose a diameter equal to about half or two-thirds of the width of your table: 60 cm for a table of 90 to 120 cm, 80 cm for a table of 120 cm or more. Then adjust the height to leave about 70 to 80 cm between the ring and the tabletop: the light then frames the dining area perfectly. In a living room, raise it closer to the ceiling for general lighting. In an entryway with a high ceiling, lower it to create a focal point at eye level.
