Precious and sculptural, this hammered relief wall sconce evokes a large tropical leaf in brass-effect metal. Each hammered facet catches the light and casts warm reflections on the wall, for a spectacular decorative effect in a living room, an entryway or a bedroom.

A hammered brass-effect relief, left or right

The Tropic by Maytoni measures 57 cm in height, 22 cm in width and 17 cm in projection. Its hammered metal structure with a gold finish comes in a left or right version: the leaf leans to one side or the other, which makes it possible to compose perfectly symmetrical decors. Its large size makes it a true wall object, which readily replaces a painting.

A G9 bulb for golden reflections

The wall sconce takes a G9 base bulb of 40 W maximum, not included. A 3 to 4 W LED bulb in warm white, around 2700 K, enhances the reflections of the hammered metal and creates a hushed atmosphere. The light bounces off the surface and draws a golden halo around the leaf. The wall sconce has an IP20 rating, for indoor use. Its installation must be carried out by a professional.

How to install the Tropic wall sconce

For a symmetrical decor, pair a left version and a right version on either side of a mirror, a sofa or a headboard, with the leaves facing inward. Mount them at about 1.60 to 1.70 m from the floor, measured at the center of the wall sconce. On its own, above an entryway console table or in the corner of a living room, it becomes a striking focal point. On a dark wall, forest green or midnight blue, the golden effect is even more spectacular.

The advantages of the Tropic wall sconce

Its hammered metal gives a lively, warm light. Its two orientations allow rare symmetrical compositions. Its large size dresses a wall all by itself. It suits Art Deco, tropical chic or eclectic interiors, and goes with velvet, rattan or dark wood. It pairs with the Tropic pendant light from the same range.

Hammered metal and golden reflections: this Tropic wall sconce brings Art Deco into your interior.
