Understated and durable, this round waterproof recessed spotlight blends into the ceiling for discreet, effective light. Designed for damp rooms, it lights a bathroom, a shower or a kitchen in complete safety, while remaining very discreet.

A round steel spotlight

The Zoom by Maytoni measures 8.5 cm in diameter, with a 7.5 cm cutout and a depth of 4.5 cm. Its steel body comes in black or white. Its shallow recess depth allows it to be installed even in a thin drop ceiling, common in bathrooms.

A GU10 bulb of your choice

The spotlight takes a bulb with a GU10 base, 50 W maximum, not included. A 5 to 7 W LED in warm white at 2700 or 3000 K creates a soft ambiance; a 4000 K version gives a more neutral light, practical near a mirror. The bulb is easy to replace.

An IP65 rating against humidity

With its IP65 rating, the Zoom is dust-tight and protected against water jets. It suits bathrooms, walk-in showers, kitchens and eaves. Its installation and connection must be carried out by a professional, who will check compliance with the bathroom zones.

How to install the Zoom spotlight

In a bathroom of 5 to 6 m², four spotlights spread across the ceiling are enough for even lighting. Above a shower, a central spotlight provides safe, pleasant light. In a hallway, line them up every 1.20 to 1.50 m. Pair them with the square Zoom to vary the shapes from one room to the next.
