Discreet and refined, this fluted semi-recessed spotlight combines the restraint of a recessed fixture with the decorative presence of a surface-mounted spotlight. Its ribbed aluminum cylinder protrudes slightly from the ceiling and catches the light thanks to its fine fluting. A technical light fixture with a carefully considered design, ideal for lighting a kitchen, a hallway or an entryway.

A fluted aluminum cylinder, semi-recessed

The Calipso consists of a cylindrical aluminum body, worked with regular vertical fluting. One part is recessed into the ceiling, the other protrudes slightly, which creates an elegant relief without the bulk of a fully surface-mounted spotlight.

Three finishes are available: black, for a graphic contrast, white, for discreet integration into a light ceiling, or gold, for a precious and warm touch. The gold version goes well with marble, dark wood or brass faucets, while the black underlines contemporary and industrial interiors.

A GU10 bulb for targeted lighting

The spotlight takes a GU10 base bulb, up to 10 W according to the manufacturer's specifications. The bulb is not included, which leaves you free to choose its beam angle, its intensity and its color temperature.

It directs the light downward for effective targeted lighting, ideal above a countertop, an island or a passageway. A GU10 LED bulb is recommended for low energy consumption and a long service life. The light fixture is rated IP20, for indoor use, in dry rooms.

A cutout of about 5.5 cm in the ceiling

Installation requires a cutout of about 5.5 cm in diameter in the ceiling, suited to drywall drop ceilings. This small diameter makes fitting easier, including in renovation, and lets you multiply the light points without damaging the ceiling or requiring major work.

Installed in a row or in a grid, several Calipso spotlights create very decorative rhythmic lighting. Their fluted finish remains clearly visible, even once integrated into the ceiling. Installation must be carried out by a professional.

A spotlight for the kitchen, hallway or walk-in closet

In a kitchen, it lights the countertop precisely and brings a designer touch to the ceiling. In a hallway, it marks out the passage with elegance. In a walk-in closet or a bedroom, it brings a targeted, carefully judged light that shows off clothes, shelves or a headboard without glare.

The Calipso series also comes as a surface-mounted spotlight, an adjustable spotlight, wall sconces and a pendant light, to harmonize the whole house in the same fluted style.

Fluted aluminum, GU10 base and three finishes: this Calipso spotlight brings your ceiling precise light and an elegant decorative signature.
