Graphic and refined, this fluted surface-mounted spotlight turns a simple point of light into a true decorative detail. Its small aluminum cylinder, ribbed with fine vertical flutes, catches the light and gives relief to the ceiling. The Calipso takes the form of a compact aluminum cylinder, about 5.6 cm in diameter by 10 cm in height. Its fluted surface, worked with regular ribs, creates a play of shadows and reflections that changes with the lighting of the room.

Three finishes are available: black, for a graphic contrast on a light ceiling, white, for discreet integration, or gold, for a precious, warm touch. All of them suit contemporary, industrial or Art Deco interiors. The gold version goes particularly well with marble, dark wood or brass faucets, while black underlines graphic interiors and white blends into bright ceilings.

A GU10 bulb for targeted lighting

The spotlight takes a GU10 base bulb, up to 10 W according to the manufacturer's specifications. The bulb is not included, which lets you choose its beam angle, its intensity and its color temperature.

Surface-mounted on the ceiling, it directs the light downward for effective targeted lighting, ideal above a countertop, a table or a passageway. A GU10 LED bulb is recommended for low consumption and a long service life. The light fixture has an IP20 rating, for indoor use, in dry rooms.

A spotlight to multiply to give rhythm to the ceiling

Installed in a row in a hallway or in a grid in a kitchen, several Calipso spotlights create very decorative rhythmic lighting. Their compact format lets you place them where a ceiling light would be too bulky, particularly in rooms of standard height.

Surface mounting avoids any recessing into the ceiling, a real advantage in renovation or on a concrete slab. Installation must be carried out by a professional.
