Round and warm, this pear-shaped wooden pendant light wraps the bulb in slim slats that filter the light. Its generous, organic silhouette softens the lines of a room and brings a natural touch to a dining room, a kitchen, a bedroom, or a living room.

The Roots by Maytoni comes in two sizes, 20 or 30 cm in diameter by 27 or 40 cm in height, with cables adjustable up to 300 cm. Its slats in light natural wood form a soft shape, wider at the base than at the top. This rounded silhouette evokes a hanging fruit and gives the room an immediate warmth.

An E27 bulb for enveloping light

The pendant light takes an E27 base bulb of 40 W maximum, not included. A 6 to 8 W LED bulb in warm white, around 2700 K, enhances the tone of the wood. Filtered by the slats, the light spreads gently toward the table and draws delicate shadows on the walls. It has an IP20 rating, for indoor use. Its installation must be entrusted to a professional.

How to style the Roots pendant light

As a trio above a table or an island, spaced 50 to 70 cm apart and with about 70 cm between their base and the surface, three pears create a warm and cheerful composition. Mix the two sizes for more rhythm. A 30 cm pear is enough above a small round table or in an entryway. On each side of a bed, two small pears replace bedside lamps. Pair it with the other Roots pendant lights for a varied cluster.
