A spotlight on a black steel spike

The Scope by Maytoni comes in two heights, 20 or 60 cm, with a diameter of 9 cm. Its black steel body blends into the vegetation and remains almost invisible during the day. Its adjustable head directs the beam toward the trunk, the foliage or the ground.

A GU10 bulb of your choice

The spike light takes a GU10 base bulb of 20 W maximum, not included. A 5 to 7 W LED in warm white, around 3000 K, enhances the green of the foliage and the bark. A narrow beam outlines the silhouette of a slender tree, while a wide beam lights a flower bed or a hedge.

An IP65 rating for outdoor use

With its IP65 rating, the Scope is dust-tight and protected against water jets, including watering. Push it into stable ground and keep the connections away from walkways. Its connection must be carried out by a professional.

How to use the Scope spike light

For a tree, place one or two spike lights about 50 cm to 1 m from the trunk, head pointing upward: the light climbs along the bark up to the crown. For a hedge or a flower bed, space them 1.50 to 2 m apart at the foot of the plants. The 20 cm version stays hidden in ground cover; the 60 cm version rises above the beds to light taller shrubs. Along a walkway, pointed toward the ground, it marks the path.
