The Scope by Maytoni measures 60 cm high and 9.5 cm wide. Its black steel body stays discreet by day and suits contemporary gardens as well as more densely planted outdoor spaces. The cylindrical head pivots to set the angle of the beam: toward the ground to guide your steps, upward to reveal foliage, toward a wall to highlight a stone or render texture.

A GU10 bulb that is easy to choose and replace

The bollard light takes a GU10 base bulb of 50 W maximum, not included. This standard base leaves you free to choose the light color and the beam angle. A warm white LED bulb at 2700 or 3000 K creates a welcoming ambiance and shows off the vegetation. A narrow angle, around 24°, picks out a tree or a sculpture, while a wider angle, around 36 to 60°, lights a passage area. The bulb is changed in a few seconds, without dismantling the bollard light.

An IP65 rating to withstand every season

With its IP65 rating, the Scope is dust-tight and protected against water jets. It withstands rain, automatic watering and ground moisture, which makes it a bollard light suited to permanent installation in a garden. Its anchoring and electrical connection must be entrusted to a professional, who will provide a buried conduit and watertight connections.

How to use the Scope bollard light in your garden

To mark a walkway, place a bollard light every 3 to 4 meters and aim the spotlights toward the ground: you get an even path of light, without glare. To show off a tree, install a bollard light 1 or 2 meters from its trunk and direct the beam toward the branches. Near a terrace, two bollard lights aimed at a wall or a hedge create a luminous backdrop that visually enlarges the space in the evening.
