The Hooked 6.0 pendant light by Buster + Punch is a 6-light solid metal chandelier, whose 6 pendants start from a single ceiling rose and can be arranged freely thanks to hooks. Its ceiling rose measures 15 cm in diameter, its large shade 21 cm in diameter and 26 cm in height, it takes 6 E27 bulbs and comes with graphite or stone shades, in 3 metal finishes: brass, smoked bronze and steel.
A 6-light pendant chandelier with hooks
This 6-light pendant chandelier brings together 6 solid metal lamp holders, each at the end of its own cable. All the cables start from a single ceiling rose 15 cm in diameter. A single electrical outlet therefore powers the whole.
The hooks are what make this model distinctive. They are made of solid metal, they are included and they screw onto the ceiling rose or directly into the ceiling. Each pendant hangs from one of them, and its length is adjusted separately.
You thus design your own composition. The 6 lights can be gathered in a cluster, at staggered heights, or spread out above a large table. The chandelier takes the shape you give it during installation.
Powder-coated metal shades: 1 large, 2 small and 3 bare lamp holders
The chandelier mixes 3 formats. One lamp holder carries a large shade, 2 lamp holders carry a small shade and the last 3 remain bare, with the bulb visible. This mix gives an irregular chandelier, far from a row of identical pendants.
Each powder-coated metal shade is made from a sheet of metal 1 mm thick. The metal is rolled, then closed with wide-slot solid metal screws. These screws remain visible and are part of the design.
The large shade measures 21 cm in diameter and 26 cm in height. The 2 small ones measure 14 cm in diameter and 13 cm in height.
Graphite or stone shades: 2 colors to choose from
Two colors are offered for the shades: graphite and stone. The stone color, which Buster + Punch calls Stone, is a light gray. It is indeed painted metal, not stone.
Graphite and stone are colors of the shades, not finishes of the metal. The 2 versions are otherwise identical: only the color of the shades changes.
Which E27 bulbs for the 6 solid metal lamp holders?
Each lamp holder of this solid metal pendant light measures 10.5 cm in height. It bears the cross knurling, called Cross, and matte rubber details. Brass has a golden tone, smoked bronze a brown tone and steel silvery reflections. The brand states that all these finishes develop a patina over time.
The pendant light takes 6 E27 bulbs of 40 W maximum each, which are not included. Buster + Punch designs this light fixture for LED bulbs and offers its own, sold separately. On the 3 bare lamp holders, the bulb remains fully visible: its appearance matters as much as its light.
The pendant light works with a dimmer, provided you choose dimmable bulbs. Keep the same 6 bulbs to obtain even light. The dimmer is not included.
200 or 260 cm cable: a pendant light for a dining room, living room or stairwell
Two cable lengths are offered: 200 cm, that is 2 m, or 260 cm, that is 2.6 m. The 260 cm cable is available with the smoked bronze and steel finishes. The excess cable is stored in the cavity provided for it, or the cable is shortened. If it has to be cut, the job is one for an electrician.
Above a large table, this is a dining room pendant light that spreads out above the tabletop. It also suits a living room, a kitchen, above an island, or a stairwell, where the 260 cm cable makes full sense. For a smaller room, the Hooked pendant light also exists in version 3.0, with 3 lights, and in version 1.0, with a single light.
The light fixture is rated IP20, so it is reserved for dry rooms. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. The ceiling fasteners and the anchors for the hooks are not included: they are chosen according to the type of ceiling. For maintenance, switch off the power, then wipe it with a dry, lint-free cloth, without any chemical product.
