Sculptural and luminous, this LED ribbon wall sconce unfurls a vertical band of light that seems to ripple out from the wall. With power worthy of a ceiling light, it lights an entire room while becoming a true piece of wall art, in a living room, an entryway or a bedroom.

An 84 cm gold ribbon of light

The Tau by Maytoni measures 84.4 cm in height, 13 cm in width and 16.7 cm in projection. Its steel frame with a gold finish and its glass diffuser form a very graphic Art Deco silhouette that ripples like a silk ribbon. Its considerable height structures a wall and immediately draws the eye.

A 2200 lumen LED

The integrated LED in warm white at 3000 K delivers 40 W and 2200 lumens, enough to light an entire room from the wall. It is an ideal solution when the ceiling has no well-placed light point, or in a living room where a warmer side light is preferred. No bulb is needed. The wall sconce has an IP20 rating, for indoor use. Its installation must be carried out by a professional.

How to install the Tau wall sconce

On its own on a large wall, centered above a console or a sideboard, it becomes the centerpiece of the decor. In a pair on either side of a sofa or a fireplace, it forms a spectacular, symmetrical ensemble. Mount it with its center approximately 1.60 m from the floor for good visual balance. In a high-ceilinged entryway, it can be placed higher to match the volume.

The advantages of the Tau wall sconce

It combines lighting power with sculptural presence. Its rippling ribbon brings movement to a bare wall. Its gold finish goes well with marble, velvet and dark wood, in Art Deco, luxurious contemporary or eclectic interiors. It pairs with the Tau floor lamp and pendant lights for a cohesive decor.

Ribbon of light and gold finish: this Tau wall sconce turns your wall into a work of art.
