The Blocco wall sconce by Sollux Lighting is a rectangular aluminum block, open at the top and bottom and cut with slanted slots. It measures 20 cm high, 10 cm long and 12 cm wide, takes one G9 bulb and comes in white or gray.

The slots are the signature of this aluminum sconce. When lit, Blocco lets fine rays of light through, drawn on the wall on either side of the block. One beam goes toward the ceiling, another toward the floor.

The bulb stays hidden inside. Only its light escapes, which ensures real visual comfort in passageways. At 10 cm long and 12 cm wide, the tall, narrow shape suits small sections of wall.

Even when switched off, the block gives rhythm to the wall. It adds an architectural detail to a very plain wall.

White or gray sconce: which finish to choose?

In a series, install the same bulb throughout to obtain identical effects. The light fixture is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

For maintenance, switch off the power and let the bulb cool. Then run a brush through the slots and a dry cloth over the block, so that the rays keep their full sharpness.
