Wall Sconce | AURA

The Aura wall sconce by Sollux Lighting is a fluted aluminum cylinder that casts light upward and downward. It measures 10 cm in height, and 10 cm in width with 1 light source or 21 cm with 2 light sources, takes G9 bulbs and comes in 16 colors.

A fluted sconce that sculpts the wall

This fluted sconce looks like a fragment of a column set against the wall. Its vertical flutes run all around the cylinder. In daylight, they catch the natural light and give the wall a small sculpted relief.

When lit, Aura projects a halo toward the ceiling and another toward the floor. The wall is lit softly, with no light source visible from the front. This indirect lighting dresses a wall, marks out a passage or complements a ceiling light.

1-light or 2-light sconce: which version to choose?

The 1-light version forms a small volume of 10 cm in width. With a depth of 12 cm, it finds its place in a hallway where people walk close to the wall. Repeated at regular intervals, it sets the rhythm of a long passage.

The 2-light version joins 2 cylinders over 21 cm in width. This double sconce lights a more generous surface and has more presence on a large section of wall. In a living room, placed on either side of a low piece of furniture, it structures the wall.

An aluminum sconce available in 16 colors

This aluminum sconce comes in 16 shades. White lets only the flutes and the halos show. Black, on the contrary, draws a graphic point on a light wall.

Beige, taupe, mocha and brown warm up a neutral interior without weighing it down. Burgundy, ochre red, olive green or sage turn the sconce into a colorful accent. Pink, yellow, red, peach, azure blue and ultramarine bring a livelier touch.

Placed on a wall of the same shade, Aura blends into the wall and shows only its relief. For maintenance, switch off the power, let the bulb cool, then dust the flutes with a soft brush.

Where to install this hallway wall sconce?

In an entryway, a wall sconce on each side of the door welcomes you with a soft light. Used as a hallway wall sconce, it is installed in a series, at a constant height, and guides the eye.

In a bedroom, Aura goes on either side of the bed for an enveloping light in the evening. In a dining room or a kitchen, it provides ambient light to complement the main lighting.

Each cylinder takes 1 G9 bulb, not included: 10 W maximum on the 1-light version, 8 W LED maximum per bulb on the 2-light version. The light fixture is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
