Wall Sconce | ARTEMIS 1 (Black)

The Artemis 1 wall sconce by Sollux Lighting is a matte black steel light fixture whose geometric grille surrounds a bulb left exposed. It measures 15 cm wide by 18 cm high, takes an E14 bulb and is also available in white.

A black wall sconce inspired by workshops

This black wall sconce takes up the principle of the workshop lamps of old, protected by a metal cage. Its lines are more restrained and more contemporary. The openwork shade forms a geometric grille around the bulb.

It catches the eye without weighing down the wall, thanks to its thin rods and open structure. The deep black asserts the identity of the light fixture. On a light wall, the grille stands out like an ink drawing.

At 15 cm wide and 18 cm high, Artemis 1 finds its place even in a small space. Its wall base measures 8 x 8 cm. This small size slips easily between two openings or above a piece of furniture.

Industrial lighting with graphic shadows

Artemis 1 produces industrial lighting full of depth: the light passes through the grille and casts fine shadows on the wall. This play of shadows emphasizes volumes and gives depth to the wall. The mood becomes more intimate, suited to moments of relaxation.

Depending on the bulb chosen, clear or frosted, the effect is more contrasted or softer. Paired with a decorative bulb, the sconce dresses the wall even when off. It complements main lighting, a pendant light or a ceiling light.

A warm white enhances the cozy mood of this light. On the same wall, keep the same bulb throughout for an even result.

A black metal sconce with a matte finish

This black metal sconce is made of steel. The matte finish limits reflections and enhances the pattern of the grille. The discreet base leaves the shade in the foreground. The sconce suits interiors where raw materials and metal make up a bold decor.

This simplicity lets it blend into a loft, workshop or contemporary decor. Black goes well with wood, concrete, exposed brick and furniture with clean lines. For maintenance, switch off the power, let the bulb cool, then wipe with a dry cloth.

Loft-style sconce: where to place it in the home?

In a bedroom, this loft-style sconce is mounted on each side of the bed. The nightstand stays free. In the living room, it frames a sofa or a low piece of furniture.

In an office, this wall sconce provides supplementary light and a graphic note near the worktop. In a dining room, several sconces lined up set a rhythm on the main wall. Keep an even spacing between the sconces for a balanced result.

It takes 1 E14 bulb, LED, not included. The light fixture is rated IP20, so it is intended for dry rooms only. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
