Wall Sconce | FAGER 1 (Black)

The Fager 1 wall sconce by Sollux Lighting is an adjustable spotlight that pairs a black steel cylinder with a square natural wood backplate. It is 8 cm long, 17 cm wide and 13 cm high, and takes a GU10 bulb.

A wall sconce in wood and black steel

The natural wood backplate adds a warm touch to the wall. The black cylinder, in turn, draws a clean silhouette. This wooden wall sconce with steel plays on that contrast of materials.

This blend gives the light fixture a Scandinavian character, with a hint of industrial spirit. It fits easily into a modern or minimalist interior.

The black matches dark frames and furniture with metal legs. The wood echoes a wooden floor, a shelf or a headboard. With its 8 cm square backplate, the spotlight fits on a narrow section of wall.

An adjustable spotlight with a precise beam

The cylinder tilts to direct the light. This adjustable spotlight can be aimed at a painting, a shelf, an armchair or a book, depending on what you need at the moment.

The beam comes out of the end of the cylinder, focused and sharp. It is accent lighting, which highlights whatever you choose to show.

Turned toward the ceiling or the wall, the spotlight gives a softer, indirect light, useful for a calm evening atmosphere. Adjust the angle with the bulb cold, then switch on to check the lit area.

Where to install this hallway or bedroom wall sconce?

In a hallway, several spotlights aimed at photo frames create a warm gallery. This hallway wall sconce also prevents dark zones at the end of the passage.

In a bedroom, above the nightstand, this wall sconce serves as a reading light and frees the furniture from any table lamp. In a living room, it lights a bookcase, a plant or a painting hung on the wall.

In a kitchen or a dining room, aimed at an open shelf or a sideboard, it highlights the tableware and displayed objects. In a series, align the backplates at the same height and give all the spotlights the same tilt.

Which GU10 bulb for this spotlight?

Fager 1 takes 1 GU10 bulb LED of 10 W maximum, not included. A warm white highlights the wood of the backplate and gives a welcoming light.

A narrow-beam bulb targets a single object. A wider beam lights a reading surface or a living room corner. The light fixture is rated IP20, so it is intended for dry rooms only. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

For maintenance, switch off the power and let the bulb cool. Then dust the cylinder and the wood with a soft, dry cloth, without water or abrasive products.
