Pendant Light | BRANCHY

The BRANCHY pendant light by Sans Souci gathers long crystal tubes, slim and slender, with metal ties, in the manner of a bundle of branches. Born of the collaboration between the Czech company and designer William Sawaya, it hangs horizontally above a table or an island. Available in 2 sizes and 3 finishes, it becomes the focal point of the room.

A linear pendant light designed like a bundle of branches

The collection tells the story of the first lightning bolt, that moment when fire met wood and light kept burning after nightfall. This linear pendant light keeps that image: crystal branches gathered together, some of which still seem to carry the flame.

BRANCHY is an exceptional light fixture, conceived as a work of art as much as a source of lighting. In a living space with a high ceiling, it structures the space and catches the eye from the moment you enter. Switched off, it keeps all its presence: the crystal catches the daylight and the mirror surfaces reflect the room.

A pendant light in sandblasted and nano-coated crystal

Each tube is made of crystal. Some receive a metallic nano-coating with a mirror shine, others are sandblasted to diffuse the light softly. It is this contrast between polished and matte surfaces that gives this crystal pendant light its depth and makes it look different depending on the viewing angle.

3 finishes are available: Silver, Gold and Rose. They let you match the fixture to a contemporary interior, a classic dining room or a high-end professional space, such as a hotel, a restaurant or a boardroom.

The pendant light is made in the Czech Republic by Sans Souci, a North Bohemian company specializing in glass and crystal light fixtures and in nano-coatings.

Which size should you choose for a table or an island?

The BRANCHY pendant light comes in 2 sizes, Medium and Large. The more compact one measures about 180 cm in length. Choose the size according to the length of the surface to be lit: the fixture should remain a little shorter than the piece of furniture it hangs over.

Centered along the axis of a large table, it becomes a dining room pendant light that lights all the guests. It is equally suited to a kitchen island or a meeting table. Allow for sufficient ceiling height so the composition can breathe, and keep the view clear between the people seated.

An integrated LED pendant light with warm light

The LED source is integrated into the fixture and runs along the sandblasted elements, which evoke the flickering of a flame. This LED pendant light emits a warm 2700 K light, both direct above the table and diffuse around the sandblasted crystal. There is no bulb to provide.

Given its dimensions and the presence of crystal, it must be mounted on a load-bearing ceiling. The pendant light is intended for indoor use, in a dry room (IP20). The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
