Ceiling Light Fixture | ARTEMIS

The Artemis ceiling light from Sollux Lighting gathers steel wire shades in the shape of an openwork diamond under a slim bar, leaving the bulbs visible. It comes with 2 cages over 31 cm in length or 3 cages over 52 cm in length, in black or white, and takes E14 bulbs.

An industrial ceiling light with steel wire cages

Each cage draws a faceted geometric shape, light and transparent. On this industrial ceiling light, the bulb can be seen through the wires. This is part of the style.

Artemis picks up the loft spirit, with simple metal elements. Its clean shapes stay uncluttered. It gives the ceiling a graphic look, and is just as at home in a modern interior.

At 19 cm high, it remains compatible with low ceilings. Its width of 17 cm keeps it discreet. When off, it remains a decorative element.

A play of shadows on the ceiling and walls

When lit, the cages cast fine shadows around them. This cage ceiling light covers the ceiling and walls with a play of lines. The effect brings the room to life in the evening.

A clear bulb strengthens the projected shadows. An amber bulb or a very warm white one creates a subdued mood. A frosted bulb softens the outlines.

The bulbs remain visible: choose decorative models. Keep the same bulbs in all the cages. The light then stays even from one end of the bar to the other.

2 or 3 cages, black or white: which version to choose?

The 2-cage version measures 31 cm in length. It suits a hallway or a small bedroom. It comes in black or white.

The 3-light ceiling light measures 52 cm in length. It lights a living room or a dining nook with a more generous light. This version is offered in black.

Black stands out against a light ceiling and goes with metal, leather and dark wood. White lightens the cages and gives a softer look. Repeat the color on another element in the room, such as a frame or handles.

Where to install this ceiling light for a kitchen or living room?

This kitchen ceiling light completes a bistro atmosphere, with raw wood shelves. In a dining room, the 3-cage version is centered above the table. Align the bar with the length of the furniture.

In a living room, this ceiling light brings the touch of metal that balances a fabric sofa. In a hallway or a staircase, the 2-cage version lights the passage. In a bedroom or an office, its grid-like silhouette appeals for its bold character.

Each cage takes 1 E14 bulb, LED, 12 W maximum, not included. The fixture is rated IP20, so it is intended for dry rooms only. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. For maintenance, switch off the power, then dust the steel wires with a soft brush.
