The CHARM wall sconce by Sans Souci hides a luminous sphere at the center of a glass globe with metallic reflections. Designed by Sara Moroni, it looks like a jewel set on the wall and only reveals its inner shape once switched on. Available in 3 finishes, it suits a living room, a bedroom, a hallway or a stairwell.

A designer wall sconce inspired by jewelry

The CHARM collection is inspired by jewelry: pure geometric shapes, well-judged proportions and a careful finish. This designer wall sconce takes up that spirit with a simple idea, that of a sphere within the sphere.

At first glance, you see a simple mirror glass globe. When the light comes on, it passes through the glass and reveals the second sphere, housed at its center. Switched off, the sconce is a mirror sphere that reflects the room. Switched on, it reveals its luminous core. It is this element of surprise that sets it apart from a classic sconce.

A glass sconce with metallic reflections, in 3 finishes

The outer globe is made of glass, covered with a metallic nano-coating that gives it a mirror look. The sandblasted elements soften the light and hint at the inner sphere. This glass sconce comes in 3 finishes: Silver, Gold and Rose. The wall mount is made of stainless steel.

Silver extends light-colored walls and pared-back interiors. Gold warms up a neutral wall and echoes brass or wood. Rose brings a softer shade, halfway between the two.

The glass is shaped by hand in the Czech Republic by Sans Souci, which explains slight variations in shape and tint from one piece to another.

Where should you install this 20 cm diameter sconce?

The CHARM sconce comes in a single size: 20 cm in diameter with a projection of 28 cm from the wall. Check that you have this clearance in front of the wall, particularly in a narrow hallway. Its compact size fits easily on a narrow wall.

Place it at eye level to enjoy the sphere-within-the-sphere effect. Alone, it creates a luminous accent in a living room or a stairwell. As a pair, this bedroom wall sconce frames a headboard, a mirror or a console table.

It also pairs with the CHARM sphere pendant light, half-sphere pendant light and table lamp to compose coordinated lighting, from wall to ceiling.

A dimmable G9 wall sconce with warm light

The sconce works with a 4.5 W LED bulb with a G9 base, included, which gives off a warm light. Softened by the sandblasted glass, this light is suited to mood lighting. This G9 wall sconce is dimmable, so you can adjust it to the time of day.

It runs on 220-240 V and its IP20 protection rating makes it suitable for dry rooms: avoid locations exposed to steam or splashing water. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
