A cut-out smoked glass ceiling light

The shades of Fillan are round and made of dark glass. This smoked glass ceiling light stands out for the notch cut into each shade. Each shade is 17 cm wide and 15 cm high.

The glass softens the light. It stays easy on the eyes. Part of the light also comes straight out through the opening.

When switched off, the smoked glass keeps a decorative presence. It catches daylight and reflections from the room. The ceiling light dresses the ceiling at any hour.

A black ceiling light with curved arms

The frame of Fillan is made of black steel. This black ceiling light starts from a 14 cm ceiling canopy. The curved arms each carry one shade.

The design is clean and timeless. It combines metal and glass. It suits a modern interior as well as a more classic decor.

The black echoes dark joinery, frames and furniture legs. It brings out the tint of the glass. It stands out clearly against a white ceiling.

3 or 5 shades: which version to choose?

The 3-shade version has a diameter of 54 cm. It lights a bedroom, an office or a medium-sized living room. Its light is soft and well distributed.

The 5-shade version has a diameter of 59 cm. It serves as the main lighting in a living area or a large dining room. It gives more light and more volume.

The 2 versions are 36 cm high. This designer ceiling light stays close to the ceiling. It suits rooms where a long pendant light would hang too low.

Where to install this dining room ceiling light?

In its role as a dining room ceiling light, it is centered above the table. Its low height keeps the view open between guests. The smoked glass gives a warm light for meals.

In a living room, this ceiling light goes in the center of the room or above the coffee table. In a bedroom, the 3-shade version is enough. In a kitchen or a hallway, it lights the space without getting in the way.

Each shade takes 1 E27 bulb, LED, 15 W maximum, not included. The light fixture is rated IP20, so it is intended for dry rooms only. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. For cleaning, switch off the power and let the bulbs cool down before cleaning the glass.
