This extension kit for ceiling lights is intended for 2 Buster + Punch light fixtures: the Caged 4.0, which is square, and the Caged 5.0, which is rectangular. These are the only 2 models the brand names for this kit.

Without the kit, these ceiling lights are fixed directly against the ceiling. With the kit, the light fixture hangs 103 cm lower. You therefore choose between a mount flush with the ceiling and an extended mount, depending on the height of the room.

This is the kit alone, which you will find among our light fixture accessories. The ceiling light and its bulbs are sold separately.

Black aluminum: an extension that matches the cage of the light fixture

The kit is made of aluminum, in a black finish. This light fixture extension thus picks up the color of the cage of the Caged ceiling lights, which is made of matte black metal.

The Caged 4.0 and 5.0 are available in black marble and in white marble. In these 2 cases, the cage remains black, and the brand lists the kit for the 2 finishes. This aluminum accessory is not available in any other color.

For maintenance, the brand specifies a dry, lint-free cloth, without any chemical product. Switch off the power before cleaning the light fixture.

High ceiling: when should you add 103 cm of drop?

The Caged 4.0 and 5.0 each measure 53 cm high. Under a high ceiling, mounted directly on the ceiling, they can end up far from the table or the area to be lit. The kit brings the light fixture closer to what it lights.

Before ordering, measure the ceiling height. The light fixture hangs an additional 103 cm lower: check that there is enough room left underneath, especially in a hallway or above a walkway. Above a dining table, a kitchen island or a living room coffee table, this is less of a concern.
