Table Lamp | GIZUR

The Gizur table lamp by Sollux Lighting combines a black metal frame with a braided rope shade, in an industrial style. It measures 15 cm wide and 25 cm high, and takes an E27 bulb.

An industrial table lamp in black metal

Gizur has a raw, unapologetic character. This industrial table lamp rests on a black metal frame. Its structure stays light in appearance. It makes a strong presence without weighing down the space.

At 15 cm wide and 25 cm high, it stays compact. Its 15 cm base gives it a good footing. It fits on a nightstand, a console or a corner of a desk.

Switched off, it keeps all its appeal. The contrast between the metal and the rope is enough to make it a decorative object. Placed on a piece of furniture, it turns a plain surface into a small decorative corner.

A braided rope shade

The rope shade softens the severity of the metal. The braided rope brings a natural material and a raised texture. It warms the whole.

When lit, the lamp highlights this texture. The rope catches the light and gives it depth. The black metal, for its part, stays in the background and traces the outline.

This pairing of materials suits many styles of decor. In a raw interior, it echoes concrete, brick and metal. With light wood furniture, it strikes a balance between warmth and modernity.

A warm accent light

Gizur gives a soft accent light. It accompanies reading, relaxing or the end of the day. Lit on its own, it is enough to create a calm corner in the room.

The color of the light depends on the bulb you choose. A warm white enhances the warmth of the rope. An LED filament bulb suits the industrial spirit of the frame.

Combined with a ceiling light or a floor lamp, it builds up several layers of light. You can thus adapt the mood to the moment. In a pair, use the same bulb on the 2 sides.

Where to place this bedside lamp?

In a bedroom, this bedside lamp sits on the nightstand. It gives a calm light before sleep. As a pair, on each side of the bed, it creates a simple symmetry.

In a living room, this lamp sits on a console or a low cabinet. On a desk, it gives an ambient light next to the screen. In a dining room, it warms the lighting from a sideboard. In a kitchen, it adds a touch of texture on a shelf.

Gizur takes 1 LED E27 bulb of 15 W maximum, not included. The fixture is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. For maintenance, unplug the lamp, then dust the metal with a dry cloth and the rope with a soft brush.
