A kids' bedside lamp with a savanna animal design

All the charm of this kids' table lamp lies in its savanna scene. The animals are drawn gently, in natural shades that rest the eyes. The illustration runs all the way around the shade and can be enjoyed from the bed as well as from the desk. It inspires stories of wide open spaces and goes well with a stuffed toy, a poster or a natural fiber rug.

Once the light is on, the drawing stands out more and the light brown tones take on a warmer shade. The natural wood of the base extends this palette and gives the whole piece a pleasing unity. When switched off, the lamp remains a lovely object that dresses up a piece of furniture without crowding it.

A 46 cm tall wooden table lamp

This wooden table lamp measures 46 cm in height by 30 cm in diameter. This generous size gives it real presence on a dresser, while still fitting comfortably on a nightstand. The natural wood base adds a warm touch and matches bedroom furniture, whether it is white, pine or light oak.

With its simple lines, the illustrated shade pairs well with walls in natural tones, plain bed linen or a natural fiber rug. In a modern, Scandinavian or minimalist bedroom, it adds the playful touch that makes the difference, without overloading the decor. The lamp also finds its place in a baby's room, on a piece of furniture out of reach of little hands.

Which bulb should you choose for this E27 bedside lamp?

The SWEET DREAMS lamp takes 1 bulb with an E27 base, with a maximum power of 60 W. A low-power E27 LED bulb is more than enough for a bedside and gives off little heat. Warm white creates a soothing atmosphere in the evening, while a more neutral white is better for reading and homework.

Rated IP20, this lamp is intended for the dry rooms of the home. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where to place this table lamp in a child's bedroom?

On the nightstand, this child's bedroom lamp accompanies the bedtime story and reassures at the moment of falling asleep. Its light, filtered by the shade, gently illuminates the book.

Placed on a dresser or a shelf, it serves as accent lighting during changing, dressing or tidying up. On a desk, it lights up drawings and first homework. It is best to place it on a stable surface, with the cable tucked along the furniture, so that it is not pulled down by accident. Combined with a pendant light or a floor lamp, it allows you to vary the moods between playtime and rest.

With its natural wood base, its savanna animals and its white and light brown tones, the SWEET DREAMS designer table lamp by BPS Koncept brings nature into the bedroom. A light fixture that is easy to fit into a child's decor, and that calms the room as soon as it is switched on.
