With its large black aluminum ring hanging horizontally, this LED chandelier puts a circle of light on the ceiling that is both understated and highly present. Designed by Thoro, the Oda chandelier measures 80 cm in diameter and gives off a 3000 K warm white light directed downward: a centerpiece for a dining room, a living room or an entryway.

A black ring chandelier with a wide band

Where many circles of light shrink to a thin line, the Oda chandelier relies on a wide band that gives it substance. Seen from below, the ring becomes a solid surface that frames the light. Hung by four thin cables, it still keeps a real lightness beneath the ceiling.

The matte black absorbs daylight reflections and keeps the light fixture looking understated, even when lit. Only the inner edge lights up, drawing a perfectly sharp circle. This black ring chandelier naturally finds its place in a contemporary, industrial or minimalist interior.

A 48 W LED chandelier with warm light

The LED source is integrated and supplied with the light fixture: no bulb needed. With 48 W for 4345 lumens at 3000 K, this LED pendant light can serve as the main lighting in a living room or a good-sized dining room.

The light is directed toward the floor rather than toward the walls. It spreads widely beneath the ring and avoids the effect of a spotlight concentrated on a single point. The color rendering index of 93 faithfully reproduces the shades of wood, fabrics and the dishes served at the table. The light fixture has an IP20 protection rating, for indoor use in dry rooms.

An 80 cm circular pendant light, adjustable up to 120 cm

The ring measures 80 cm in diameter and drops down to 120 cm below the ceiling. It is fixed with a 20 cm square mounting plate, and the length of the four cables is adjusted during installation. Above a table, leave about 70 cm between the tabletop and the bottom of the ring: you can then see freely from one guest to another.

This circular pendant light needs a little space around it so that its shape remains legible. In a living room, a more generous height highlights the circle seen from the side. Simply check the clearance beneath the light fixture before fixing the plate.

A designer chandelier for the dining room, living room or entryway

Above a table for six, this dining room chandelier covers the length of the tabletop and gives even lighting from one end to the other. In a living room, hung above the coffee table, it marks out the lounge area and replaces a central ceiling light with a far more graphic shape. In an entryway or an office, the black circle sets the tone from the very first steps.

The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. For maintenance, a soft, dry cloth is enough to remove dust; avoid products that could dull the matte finish.
