The Luna ceiling light from Sollux Lighting is a large white fabric sail, stretched below the ceiling by 4 thin rods and lit from behind by LED tubes. It comes in 4 sizes, from 105 cm by 80 cm to 140 cm by 140 cm, with a height of 15 cm, and includes tubes with a G13 base.

A large fabric ceiling light

Luna is unlike ordinary ceiling lights. This large ceiling light is a surface of white fabric. When lit, it becomes a large luminous surface.

The fabric forms a slight curve. It softens the geometry of the ceiling. When off, it adds a textile touch to the decor.

Its style is minimalist and elegant. It fits into modern interiors. At 15 cm high, it takes up little space despite its large surface.

A soft, flicker-free light

The fabric softens the light from the tubes. With this soft light, the room is lit evenly. There is no harsh shadow and no glaring spot.

The LED tubes give a warm white of 3000 K. The lighting is flicker-free and does not tire the eyes. It is suitable for reading, working or playing.

The tubes are included with the light fixture. They use a G13 base. You can therefore replace them when the time comes.

4 sizes: which one to choose?

The 105 cm by 80 cm size takes 2 tubes. It suits a bedroom or an office. The 105 cm square takes 4 tubes and lights an average-sized living room.

The 130 cm by 105 cm size takes 6 tubes. It follows the shape of a rectangular room or a large table. The 140 cm ceiling light also takes 6 tubes and lights a very large living room.

All 4 sizes have the same height. Measure your ceiling before choosing. Plan on having a second person help you install the larger sizes.

Where to install this living room ceiling light?

In a living room, this living room ceiling light lights the whole room in one go. In a dining room, a rectangular size is placed along the axis of the table. All the guests are lit equally.

In a bedroom or a child's bedroom, this ceiling light avoids the effect of a central spotlight. In an office, it gives even light across the whole table. In a kitchen, it provides general lighting.
