Ceiling Light Fixture | SKALA 50 (White)

The Skala 50 ceiling light from Sollux Lighting is a round ceiling light with a white fabric shade, closed by a glass diffuser. It measures 50 cm in diameter and 16 cm high, and takes 5 E27 bulbs.

A white ceiling light with a fabric shade

Skala 50 combines a white fabric shade, glass and steel. This white ceiling light brings back the softness of a classic shade, set against the ceiling. No cable or rod hangs down into the room, so the height stays free.

The fabric shade forms the outer ring of the light fixture. The glass closes the underside and diffuses the light downward. You get soft, even lighting, pleasant for daily life.

The white blends into a light ceiling. It lets the furniture and colors of the room take center stage. The style stays minimalist and modern, easy to pair with your furniture.

A round ceiling light of 50 cm

This round ceiling light measures 50 cm in diameter. It is a mid-size format, neither too discreet nor too imposing. It suits a medium-sized room, such as a bedroom or a dining room.

Its height is 16 cm. The light fixture therefore stays close to the ceiling. It installs without difficulty under a standard-height ceiling.

In a large room, you can install 2 at regular distances. Each ceiling light then needs its own electrical supply. This solution lights a long living area well.

5 E27 bulbs for general lighting

The light fixture takes 5 LED bulbs of 15 W maximum each. The E27 bulbs are not included. You therefore choose the tint and the power of the light.

With 5 sources, this ceiling light is enough for the general lighting of a room. The light spreads across the whole surface of the diffuser. Use 5 identical bulbs to get an even result across the whole ceiling light.

A warm white light suits a living room or a bedroom. A more neutral light suits a kitchen or an office. Lower-power bulbs are enough in a small room.

Where to install this bedroom ceiling light?

In its role as a bedroom ceiling light, it is placed in the center of the ceiling. Its soft light suits an adult's bedroom as well as a child's bedroom. Bedside lamps complete the lighting for reading.

In a living room or a dining room, this ceiling light is centered above the table or the sofa area. In a kitchen, it lights the whole room. In an office, it provides the general lighting.

The light fixture is rated IP20, so it is intended for dry rooms only. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. For maintenance, switch off the power, then dust the fabric with a soft brush. Then clean the glass with a soft, dry cloth, without abrasive products.
