A ceramic wall sconce with a fluted relief

The undulations of the ceramic create a succession of shadows and light. Even when switched off, this ceramic wall sconce gives the wall a texture reminiscent of pleated fabric.

Mounted horizontally, it emphasizes the width of the wall. Its 34 cm length gives it a real presence, without excessive depth. It dresses the top of a low piece of furniture or a headboard.

Its design combines simple forms with a clear function. It suits modern interiors. Its standard base lets you adjust the light intensity to your needs.

White, beige, taupe, olive green or ultramarine: which shade to choose?

White blends in with the wall and lets the relief do all the work. This white wall sconce suits bright rooms. It lets the light play on the flutes.

Beige and taupe go with light woods, linen and natural rugs. Olive green echoes green plants, rattan and wooden furniture. These natural shades set a warm atmosphere.

Ultramarine dares to use a bold color. On a white wall, it becomes a real decorative accent. On a wall painted the same blue, it creates a very current tone-on-tone effect.

Indirect lighting upward and downward

When lit, Rigata projects a halo toward the ceiling and another toward the floor. The relief of the flutes then stands out in the light that grazes the housing.

The bulb sits inside the ceramic housing. This indirect lighting creates a warm atmosphere, in a hallway as well as above a sofa.

A warm white shade brings out the relief and the colors of the ceramic. Leave some space above the housing, so that the upper halo spreads across the wall.

Where to install this sconce in a hallway or living room?

This hallway sconce is installed in a series, at the same height. It sets the rhythm of the passage and lights the walls. Check that it is level before tightening.

In a living room, a pair on either side of a bookcase or a low piece of furniture gives an ambient light. In a bedroom, above the bedside tables, this wall sconce frees up the space of a bedside lamp. In a dining room, 2 sconces on the main wall create a warm light for dinners.

Rigata takes 1 LED E27 bulb of 15 W maximum, not included. The light fixture is rated IP20, so it is reserved for dry rooms. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. For maintenance, switch off the power, then dust the flutes with a soft brush or a dry cloth.
