Wall Sconce | ROXANNE

Refined and luminous, this Art Deco blown glass wall sconce turns the wall into a canvas of light. The Roxanne, by Elements Lighting, combines a rounded diffuser with geometric relief and a gold metal mount. Available in two sizes, it casts an openwork halo around itself that gives character to a living room, a bedroom, an entryway or a hallway.

The charm of the Roxanne lies in its glass, worked in relief with patterns inherited from the 1920s. Artisanally blown, it shows slight variations that make each piece unique. The aluminum and gold metal mount frames the diffuser and gives it a refined touch.

Three shades are available: powder pink for a soft ambiance, emerald green for a deep look, graphite gray for a more contemporary feel. The gray is available only in the large size.

Two sizes to suit every wall

The small Roxanne measures 20 cm in diameter by 12.8 cm in depth and weighs 0.6 kg. Discreet, it slips onto a narrow wall, on either side of a bed or along a hallway, and lends itself to arrangements of several units.

The large Roxanne measures 28 cm in diameter by 15 cm in depth and weighs 1.2 kg. With more presence, it is enough to dress a section of wall above a sofa, a console table or a fireplace. The two sizes can also echo each other in the same room.

A gold-crown bulb included

Each wall sconce comes with its gold-crown LED bulb: a 6 W E14 base for the small size, an E27 base for the large one, which accepts up to 15 W. The crown hides the point of light and sends the light back toward the glass, which diffuses it at 360° in a soft, openwork beam with no glare.

The Roxanne runs on 220-240 V, is not dimmable and has an IP20 protection rating, for indoor installation, away from moisture.

How to install the Roxanne wall sconce

It connects to a wall electrical supply point and, as a Class I light fixture, must be grounded. Place it at eye level, around 1.60 m from the floor, in a clear spot that lets its halo take shape on the wall.

In a pair, it elegantly frames a headboard or a mirror. In a series, it gives rhythm to a hallway or composes a very graphic wall decor, also appreciated in hotels and restaurants. Supplied with its bulb, it lights up as soon as it is installed, and a dry cloth is all it takes to care for the glass. It pairs with the Roxanne pendant lights for a coherent decor.
