The lantern takes an E27 base bulb of 60 W maximum, not included. An LED filament bulb of 4 to 6 W in warm white, around 2700 K, reinforces its retro charm and uses very little energy, even when lit all evening.

An IP44 rating for outdoor use

With its IP44 rating, the Salamanca is protected against splashing water. Its ground installation and connection must be carried out by a professional, who will locate buried utility lines and ensure that the connections are watertight.

How to position the Salamanca lantern

Along a path, space the lanterns 4 to 5 m apart, on one side only or staggered, for an old-fashioned lit pathway. At the entrance to a garden, two lanterns on either side of the gate create a symmetrical welcome. On a terrace, place one at each corner for an intimate atmosphere.
