An aluminum bar of 120 cm carried by two almost invisible cables, this linear LED pendant light casts its light from below, along the entire length of a table or a desk. Designed by Thoro, the Farge pendant light takes up the principle of the linear office fixture and adds what is often missing, color: it comes in white, black, pink and gold, in 3000 K or 4000 K.

An aluminum pendant light with a ribbed profile

The Farge pendant light comes down to a single line: an aluminum profile 120 cm long, hung horizontally. The LED source is integrated into the bar, behind a diffuser placed on the underside. The light falls evenly from one end to the other, with no visible light point.

The outer face of the profile features fine horizontal ribs that catch the ambient light. This detail gives texture to the color and avoids the overly smooth look of a standard tube. The transparent power cable runs discreetly down to the bar and leaves all the focus on the line of the profile.

A 38 W LED pendant light with faithful color rendering

This LED pendant light comes with a 38 W source, integrated and included. According to the manufacturer's data, it delivers about 3800 lumens in 3000 K. That is enough to light a large table or a countertop effectively with a single fixture, without adding other light points around it.

Its color rendering index of 93 reproduces shades accurately. This is appreciable for working on documents, drawing or simply showing off a set table. The fixture runs on 220-240 V and has an IP20 protection rating, for indoor use in dry rooms.

This colorful pendant light is available in 4 shades. White and black remain the safe choices for an office or a contemporary kitchen: black emphasizes the line of the bar, while white makes it almost disappear. Pink brings an unexpected touch and brightens a leafy or wooden decor. Gold pairs with light wood and natural tones, with a warm presence that never turns flashy. The ceiling canopy takes on the color of the bar, for a consistent look from top to bottom.

Each color comes in two light temperatures. The warm white 3000 K creates a convivial atmosphere, to be preferred in a dining room or a kitchen open to the living room. The neutral white 4000 K promotes concentration: it suits an office or a large worktable better.

Above a table, this dining room pendant light lights all the guests in the same way, which a round pendant light does not always achieve over a long tabletop. Above a desk or a large worktable, align it with the length of the tabletop to avoid dark areas. In a restaurant or a café, several bars in different colors lined up above the tables create a visual rhythm and strengthen the identity of the place.

The total height reaches 150 cm and the suspension length is adjusted during installation. Above a table, place the bar about 70 cm from the tabletop to light without obstructing the view. Check the levelness with a spirit level, because over 120 cm the slightest deviation shows. It is mounted with a round ceiling canopy of 8 cm. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. For maintenance, a soft, dry cloth is enough for the profile.
