The Tau by Maytoni comes in two versions, Alpha and Beta, about 140 or 180 cm long with a total height of 150 cm. Its steel structure with a gold finish and its glass diffuser form a delicate line. The 140 cm version suits a table for six people; the 180 cm version makes its presence felt above a large table for entertaining or in a spacious living room.

An integrated LED in warm white

The integrated LED in warm white at 3000 K delivers 21 or 30 W depending on the version. The light follows the curve of the ribbon and spreads softly and evenly, enhanced by the gold finish. No bulb is needed. It has an IP20 rating, for indoor use. Its installation must be carried out by a professional.

Where to install the Tau pendant light

Above a large table, center the ribbon along the length of the tabletop and leave about 75 cm between its lowest point and the table. In a living room with a high ceiling, raise it so that it floats above the room like a sculpture. In an entryway or a lobby, it welcomes visitors with brilliance. The choice between Alpha and Beta depends on the length of your table: aim for a pendant light slightly shorter than the tabletop for a balanced result.
