Discreet and reassuring, this outdoor LED marker light for stairs is recessed into the wall to light the steps with a beam directed toward the ground. It makes a staircase, a sloping path or a low wall safe and elegant at night, without ever causing glare.
A compact steel marker light
The Via Urbana by Maytoni measures 7 cm wide by 7.5 cm deep, with a round cutout of 6.2 cm. Its steel body is available in gray, to blend into a stone or concrete wall, or in white, for a light-colored render. Once recessed, it sits flush with the surface and remains almost invisible during the day.
An integrated LED in warm white
The integrated LED in warm white at 3000 K delivers 3 W, a soft marker light that guides without glare. Its very low energy consumption means it can be left on all night. No bulb is needed.
An IP54 rating for outdoor use
With its IP54 rating, the Via Urbana is protected against dust and splashing water, for permanent outdoor use. Its recessed installation and connection must be carried out by a professional, who will plan the conduits before the wall is finished.
How to mark out a staircase with lights
Place the marker lights about 20 to 30 cm above the stair nosing, on the side wall, at a rate of one every two or three steps depending on the width of the staircase. On a sloping path or along a low wall, space them 1.50 to 2 m apart, at the same height. On a terrace, a few marker lights in the low walls are enough to trace the outlines. Connect them to a twilight switch so that they come on automatically.
The advantages of the Via Urbana marker light
Its recessed installation preserves the restraint of the architecture. Its downward light provides safety without glare. Its energy-saving LED can stay on all night. It pairs with contemporary or traditional houses.
Compact and recessed: this Via Urbana marker light makes your steps safe with complete discretion.
