Wall Sconce | SIGMA

The Sigma wall sconce by Sollux Lighting is a faceted form that looks folded and twisted on itself, available in white, gray or black ceramic and in gray concrete. It comes in 35 cm and 42 cm lengths, with an E27 base.

A designer wall sconce with facets in motion

The facets change orientation from one end of the form to the other. Daylight creates a gradient of shadows on it, which evolves over the hours. The form thus changes appearance depending on where you look at it from.

This designer wall sconce turns the light fixture into a small sculpture. It remains elegant, even when switched off. Its simple shape also makes cleaning easier.

Its timeless design suits modern and minimalist interiors. The concrete also matches loft or industrial style decors.

Ceramic or concrete: which version to choose?

The ceramic wall sconce comes in white, gray and black. In white, its matte surface emphasizes the sharpness of the edges.

The white housing can be left as is. It can also be painted with ordinary wall paint, to blend in with the wall. The Mini version, in white ceramic, follows the same shape.

The concrete version has a light gray color and a raw look. It brings a mineral texture. The black, bolder, stands out against a light plaster or a stone wall.

Indirect lighting upward and downward

When switched on, the sconce diffuses light upward and downward. This indirect lighting creates a decorative effect on the wall.

The E27 bulbs are easy to replace. You choose the power and the tint of the light, from warm white to cool white. A warm white emphasizes the relief of the facets with soft shadows.

Sigma serves mainly as ambient light. Pair it with main lighting if the room needs a stronger light. Leave space above and below the sconce, so that the beams can spread out.

Where to install this sconce for a living room or hallway?

In a living room, this sconce for a living room is placed as a pair, on either side of a console or a low piece of furniture. It creates a symmetrical decor with a sculptural character. Keep the same mounting height for the 2 sconces.

In a hallway, this wall sconce accompanies the passage with its beams. In a bedroom, it diffuses a soft glow above a chest of drawers. In a dining room or a kitchen, it dresses the wall near the table. In an office, it gives character to a bare wall.

Sigma accepts LED bulbs of 15 W maximum, with an E27 base, not included. The light fixture is rated IP20, so it is intended for dry rooms only. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. For maintenance, switch off the power, then dust the facets with a soft brush or a dry cloth.
