Floor Lamp | RAYO

The Rayo floor lamp from Sollux Lighting carries a rectangular aluminum spotlight, covered in fine grooves and adjustable, at the end of a thin stem set on a 30 cm base. It is 160 cm tall, takes a GU10 bulb and comes in 14 colors.

A designer floor lamp with a grooved spotlight

The spotlight of Rayo is a small rectangular volume covered in fine decorative grooves. This designer floor lamp combines an elongated shape with a texture that catches the light. Its style is modern.

The body is made of aluminum with a matte paint finish. The thin stem and the 30 cm base stay discreet on the floor. The floor lamp slips in beside a sofa or an armchair.

At 160 cm tall, the spotlight sits above a seated person. It lights the room without crowding it. When switched off, it keeps a slender silhouette.

An adjustable spotlight to direct the light

The adjustable spotlight directs the light toward an armchair, a painting, a shelf or a worktop. One and the same floor lamp serves as a reading light, then as accent lighting. Adjust the spotlight when the bulb is cold.

Turned toward a book, it creates a reading corner. Turned toward a wall or an object, it highlights the decor. You adapt the lighting to the time of day.

The GU10 bulb is easy to replace. A narrow angle concentrates the light, a wide angle spreads it more. A warm white suits evenings in the living room.

14 colors: which shade to choose?

White, beige and taupe blend into a bright room. The black floor lamp draws a clean line, as does the brown version. Burgundy and ocher red go well with wood and velvet.

Olive green and sage echo plants and natural tones. Pink, yellow and red add a vivid note. Ultramarine and azure blue give a fresher accent.

For a discreet presence, choose the color of the wall. For a decorative effect, pick a shade that stands out. The matte finish is the same in all colors.

Where to place this living room floor lamp?

This living room floor lamp sits beside an armchair or at the end of a sofa. Place it slightly behind the seat, so that the light falls on the book. A switch controls the lighting.

In a bedroom, this floor lamp lights an armchair or an office corner. In a dining room or a kitchen, it highlights a shelf or a sideboard. In a hallway, it lights a painting.

Rayo takes 1 GU10 bulb, LED, 10 W maximum, not included. The light fixture is rated IP20, so it is reserved for dry rooms. For maintenance, unplug the floor lamp, then wipe the aluminum with a soft, dry cloth.
