The Rayo Ligne ceiling light from Sollux Lighting lines up adjustable fluted aluminum spotlights on a slim track mounted to the ceiling. It is available with 2, 3, 4 or 6 spotlights, in lengths of 30, 45, 81 or 117 cm, with GU10 bulbs and a choice of 14 colors.
Adjustable spotlights on a slim track
The reflectors are adjustable. These adjustable spotlights direct the light toward a worktop, a painting or a walkway. A single fixture therefore lights several areas.
The track is only 6 cm wide. The whole fixture drops 16.5 cm below the ceiling. The light fixture is therefore suitable for standard ceiling heights.
Adjust the direction in the evening, with the ceiling light on. You can see right away where the beams fall. Aimed at a wall, the spotlights give a softer light.
A designer ceiling light with fine fluting
Each reflector is rectangular and covered with fine, closely spaced fluting. On this designer ceiling light, this precise texture gives a modern, elegant look. It creates small, regular shadows on each spotlight.
The light fixture is made of matte powder-coated aluminum. The color covers the track and the spotlights alike. When off, it draws a colored line across the ceiling.
White, beige and taupe blend into a light ceiling. Black and brown draw a crisp line. The bright colors, from yellow to ultramarine, create an accent in the room.
From 2 to 6 spotlights: which length to choose?
The 30 cm track holds 2 spotlights. It suits a short hallway or an office corner. The 45 cm track holds 3 spotlights and lights a table or a worktop.
The 81 cm track holds 4 spotlights. The 6-spotlight ceiling light is 117 cm long. It follows the length of an island, a large table or a living area.
All 4 lengths have the same width and the same height. They are all available in the 14 colors. You can therefore furnish several rooms in the same style.
Where to install this kitchen ceiling light?
This kitchen ceiling light is mounted parallel to the worktop. Turn the spotlights toward the area where you cook. The light then falls exactly on the useful surface.
In a hallway, this ceiling light lights the walkway and the frames hung on the walls. In a living room, it highlights a bookcase or a painting. In a dining room, the track lines up with the table. In a bedroom, the spotlights turn toward the wardrobe and the bed.
Each spotlight takes 1 GU10 bulb, LED, 10 W maximum, not included. The fixture is rated IP20, so it is intended for dry rooms only. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. For maintenance, switch off the power, then dust the spotlights with a soft brush or a dry cloth.
