Wall Sconce | ORBIS 1 (Gold)

The Orbis 1 wall sconce by Sollux Lighting is a compact gold aluminum cylinder, open at the top and bottom, that lights the wall in 2 directions. It measures 12 cm wide and 10 cm high, and takes a G9 bulb.

A gold wall sconce in a cylindrical format

Its cylindrical format, with balanced lines, fits easily into a modern or minimalist interior. Its design without ornament outlasts changes of decor. It goes well with wood, stone and dark tones.

The gold color gives off a feeling of warmth. This gold wall sconce naturally catches the eye, while remaining discreet thanks to its size.

Its finish catches the daylight, then reveals its full personality once lit. Compact, it slips onto a narrow section of wall, between 2 doors or above a low piece of furniture.

Indirect lighting that gives the wall relief

The light escapes through the 2 ends of the cylinder. This indirect lighting creates a play of shadow and light that accentuates the depth of volumes.

The wall becomes part of the decor. Plaster, stone or a deep paint gain in relief. The bulb sits inside the cylinder, out of direct view.

This light complements the main lighting and creates different levels of brightness in the room. In warm white, the beams echo the golden tone of the metal.

Where to install this sconce for a living room or bedroom?

In a living area, this living room sconce highlights a decorative wall or frames a work of art. In a dining room, it creates a warm atmosphere during a meal.

In a bedroom, this wall sconce replaces a bedside lamp and frees up space on the nightstands. Near a mirror or a headboard, 2 sconces make up a symmetrical set. In an office, near a bookcase, it provides a soft atmosphere for reading.

In a hallway, several cylinders set the rhythm of the passage with elegance. Thanks to its small size, you can easily create a composition with several sconces on the same wall.

G9 wall sconce: bulb, installation and maintenance

This G9 wall sconce works with 1 LED bulb, not included. You are free to choose the tint and intensity of the light. A small bulb is enough to obtain well-defined beams.

Leave space above and below the cylinder, so that the 2 beams can spread. For a series, align the sconces with a level and keep identical bulbs. The slightest difference in height or tint shows in the shape of the rays.

The light fixture is rated IP20, so it is intended for dry rooms only. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. For maintenance, switch off the power, then wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive products, which could dull the gold finish.
