Wall Sconce | OVIO

The Ovio wall sconce from Sollux Lighting is a matte aluminum light fixture whose smooth shade with a wavy outline resembles a cloud. It measures 12 cm long, 14.5 cm wide and 10 cm high, takes one G9 bulb and comes in 14 colors.

A cloud wall sconce with a wavy outline

Ovio stands out for its organic, rounded shape. The gently wavy outline of this cloud wall sconce also evokes the petals of a flower. The shade stays smooth, with no relief or pattern. It is its cutout that gives it all its character.

This soft silhouette brings a warm note to a wall. It makes a change from sconces with straight lines and sharp angles. Its modern style suits clean, uncluttered interiors. When off, it remains a decorative object in its own right.

At 14.5 cm wide and 10 cm high, it keeps a compact size. It finds its place on a small section of wall. Several sconces can also follow one another on the same wall. Together they form a light frieze.

A matte aluminum sconce in 14 colors

The shade is made of matte powder-coated aluminum. This aluminum sconce does not shine and limits reflections. The color keeps a soft, even look. The smooth surface can be cleaned with a simple wipe of a cloth.

The range includes 14 colors. White, beige and taupe stay discreet on a light wall. Black and brown clearly define the wavy outline. These understated shades suit every room.

Pink, yellow, sage and azure blue bring a tender touch. Red, ochre red, burgundy, ultramarine and olive green give more character. For a harmonious result, pick up a color already present in the room. A cushion, a curtain or a rug can serve as a reference.

Wall lighting directed downward

Ovio shines downward. This wall lighting runs down along the wall and marks the area below the sconce. It serves as accent light, to complement the ceiling light. In the evening, it is enough to create a calm atmosphere.

You choose the color of the light with the bulb. A warm white creates a soft atmosphere in a bedroom or living room. A neutral white suits a hallway or an entryway better.

In a series, keep the same bulb in all the sconces. The light then stays identical from one point to the next. As a pair, 2 sconces frame a mirror, a bed or a sofa.

Where to install this sconce for a child's bedroom?

With its cloud outline, Ovio makes a ready-made sconce for a child's bedroom. It is fixed near the bed or above a reading corner. The tender colors extend the decor of the room. The understated shades stay with the child for longer.

In an adult's bedroom, this wall sconce goes on each side of the bed. In a hallway, it repeats along the wall. In a living room, it frames a sofa or a console. In a dining room or a kitchen, it adds a decorative point of light.

Ovio takes 1 G9 bulb, LED, 8 W maximum, not included. The light fixture is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. For maintenance, switch off the power, then wipe the aluminum with a soft, dry cloth.
