The Karbon wall sconce by Sollux Lighting is a fluted aluminum light fixture, available as a vertical tube of 10, 20 or 30 cm or as an adjustable spotlight, with or without a switch. All versions take GU10 bulbs and come in several shades, up to 15 colors depending on the model.

Tube of 10, 20 or 30 cm: which length should you choose?

The tube is mounted vertically and lets the light escape upward and downward. The 10 cm tube measures 6.5 cm long and 8.5 cm wide, and takes 1 bulb. It is the most discreet, suited to hallways and the sides of a door.

The 20 and 30 cm tubes take 2 bulbs. Slimmer, they draw crisp beams above and below the cylinder. This tube wall sconce finds its place on either side of a sideboard or a mirror.

Installed in a row, the tubes give rhythm to a long wall. The lighting stays soft, because the light hits the wall instead of aiming at your eyes.

Adjustable spotlight, with or without a switch

The adjustable spotlight consists of a movable fluted cylinder, hinged on a base. You tilt it to point the light where it is needed, then straighten it toward the wall for an indirect glow.

The version with a switch measures 8 cm long, 8 cm wide and 16 cm high. At the bedside, this wall reading light turns on and off directly by hand. Each person aims their light at their book without disturbing the person sleeping next to them.

The version without a switch is controlled from the room's wall switch. In a living room, a spotlight aimed at a painting or a plant creates a focal point in the evening.

Which color should you choose among the 15 shades?

White, black, gold, beige, taupe, olive green, ochre red, burgundy and ultramarine are offered for every model. These tones range from the easiest neutrals to deep colors.

The spotlight with a switch and the 20 cm tube are also available in pink, sage, yellow, red, brown and azure blue. These cheerful colors suit a child's bedroom or an office. This wall sconce can also pick up the shade of a cushion, a ceramic piece or a frame.

Each lamp holder takes 1 LED GU10 bulb of 10 W maximum, not included. The fixture is rated IP20, so it is reserved for dry rooms. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. For maintenance, turn off the power, then clean the aluminum with a soft cloth and run a dry brush through the grooves.
