Wall Sconce | FABIANO

The Fabiano wall sconce by Sollux Lighting is a light fixture made of 2 white glass panels that overlap with a slight offset, held at the center by a chrome steel piece. It measures 27 cm long, 7 cm wide and 37 cm high, and takes 2 E27 bulbs.

A white glass wall sconce with an asymmetrical design

The first panel is mounted straight, the second slightly tilted. On this glass wall sconce, this deliberate offset creates a lively composition, close to a collage.

The chrome center piece acts like a clasp. It adds a shiny touch in the middle of the white and visually links the 2 plates.

At only 7 cm wide, Fabiano stays flat against the wall and does not get in the way of passage. Its 37 cm of height gives it enough presence to dress a section of wall on its own. When off, it remains decorative in broad daylight.

A soft light for a subdued atmosphere

When lit, the white glass diffuses a milky glow. The light also escapes through the edges and draws a halo around the panels.

The 2 sources placed behind the glass give both a luminous surface and indirect lighting on the wall. The result is generous, without glare.

This light is often enough to light a landing or a hallway without switching on the main lighting. On a textured wall, the luminous edges catch the relief of the plaster. On a smooth wall, they extend the geometry of the glass.

Where to install this sconce for a hallway or living room?

This hallway sconce works very well in a series. Several units evenly spaced turn a simple passage into a gallery of light.

In a living room, near a bookcase or behind an armchair, this wall sconce brings an ambient light that complements the lamps placed on furniture. In a dining room, a pair on either side of a sideboard creates an elegant symmetry.

In a bedroom or an office, it dresses a bare wall and gives off a restful brightness. White and chrome form a luminous duo, at ease in a modern interior. Combined with chrome handles or chrome table legs, the sconce echoes that detail.

Which E27 bulbs for this sconce?

Fabiano takes 2 LED E27 bulbs of 15 W maximum each, not included. Choose compact, identical models, so that the 2 light zones have the same intensity.

A warm white makes the glass softer and more welcoming. A neutral white gives a sharper light, suited to a busy hallway. The light fixture is rated IP20, so it is intended for dry rooms only. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

For maintenance, switch off the power and let the bulbs cool. Clean the panels with a slightly damp microfiber cloth, then dry immediately to avoid streaks. The chrome piece can be polished with a dry, soft cloth.
