A children's bedside lamp with a sea ice design

The charm of this children's table lamp lies in its illustration. Penguins make their way through an icy landscape, drawn in light blue and white, with a few touches of black that highlight the patterns. The drawing runs all the way around the shade and can be seen from the bed as well as from the desk. It appeals to children who love animals and matches a stuffed toy, a poster or bed linen in cool colors.

Once the light is on, the illustrations stand out more and the light blue becomes softer. The natural wood of the base warms the whole and avoids any coldness. When switched off, the lamp remains a lovely object, which dresses up a piece of furniture without crowding it.

A wooden table lamp 46 cm high

This wooden table lamp measures 46 cm high by 30 cm in diameter. This generous size gives it a real presence on a dresser, while still fitting in on a nightstand. The natural wood base adds a warm note and matches the bedroom furniture, whether white, pine or light oak.

With its simple lines, the illustrated shade pairs with pastel walls, plain bed linen or a natural fiber rug. In a bedroom with a modern, Scandinavian or minimalist style, it brings the touch of whimsy that makes the difference, without overloading the decor. The lamp also has its place in a baby's room, on a piece of furniture out of reach of small hands.

Which bulb to choose for this E27 bedside lamp?

The SWEET DREAMS lamp takes 1 bulb with an E27 base, with a maximum power of 60 W. A low-power E27 LED bulb is more than enough for a bedside and gives off little heat. A warm white creates a soothing atmosphere in the evening, while a more neutral white suits reading and homework better.

Rated IP20, this lamp is intended for the dry rooms of the home. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where to place this table lamp in a child's bedroom?

On the nightstand, this child's bedroom lamp accompanies the bedtime story and reassures at the moment of falling asleep. Its light, filtered by the shade, gently illuminates the book.

Placed on a dresser or a shelf, it serves as an accent light during diaper changes, dressing or tidying up. On a desk, it lights up drawings and first homework. It is best to put it on a stable surface, with the cable tucked along the furniture, so that it is not pulled down by accident. Combined with a pendant light or a floor lamp, it lets you vary the moods between playtime and rest.

With its natural wood base, its sea ice animals and its light blue and white tones, the designer table lamp SWEET DREAMS by BPS Koncept brings softness to the bedroom. A light fixture that is easy to fit into a child's decor, and that invites calm as soon as you turn it on.
