A children's bedside lamp with an exotic animal design

On this children's table lamp, little exotic animals wander through a peaceful natural setting. The drawing, tender and amusing, plays on white and light green. It runs all the way around the shade and can be seen from the bed as well as from the desk. Children love finding each animal and giving it a name, and the theme easily extends with a plant, a stuffed toy or a poster in green tones.

When the light comes on, the illustrations gain depth and the light green adds freshness. The natural wood of the base goes well with this plant-inspired decor. When switched off, the lamp remains a cheerful object, which dresses up a piece of furniture without crowding it.

A table lamp with a natural wood base

This wooden table lamp measures 46 cm high by 30 cm in diameter. Large enough to stand out on a dresser, it is still at home on a nightstand. Its natural wood base warms the whole and blends with the bedroom furniture, whether white, pine or light oak.

Understated in its lines, the illustrated shade blends with pastel walls, plain bed linen or a natural fiber rug. In a bedroom with a modern, Scandinavian or minimalist style, it adds a fresh touch without overloading the decor. The lamp also suits a baby's room, placed on a piece of furniture out of reach of small hands.

Which bulb for this lamp with an E27 base?

The SWEET DREAMS lamp works with 1 bulb with an E27 base, with a maximum power of 60 W. For a bedside, a low-power E27 LED bulb is more than enough and gives off little heat. A warm white creates a restful atmosphere in the evening, while a more neutral white suits reading and homework better.

Rated IP20, this lamp is designed for the dry rooms of the home. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where to put this table lamp in a child's bedroom?

On the nightstand, this child's bedroom lamp accompanies the bedtime story and reassures at the moment of falling asleep. Its light, filtered by the shade, gently illuminates the book.

On a dresser or a shelf, it provides an accent light during diaper changes, dressing or tidying up. On a desk, it lights up drawings and first homework. It is best to set it on a stable surface, with the cable tucked along the furniture, so that it is not pulled down by accident. Combined with a pendant light or a floor lamp, it lets you vary the moods between playtime and rest.

With its natural wood base, its exotic animals and its touches of light green, the designer table lamp SWEET DREAMS by BPS Koncept brings good cheer to the bedroom. A light fixture that is easy to fit into a child's decor, and that sparks the imagination as soon as you turn it on.
