Standing 44 cm tall and 22.5 cm wide, this table lamp fits on a bedside table, a desk or a shelf. Its open-sea design inspires a taste for adventure. When lit, it gives off a soft light, well suited to the bedtime story.

A kids' bedside lamp with a sea design

This kids' table lamp tells the story of a sea crossing. A whale, a boat and other sea motifs meet in a delicate drawing, where the light blue of the water echoes the white and a few touches of brown. The illustration runs all the way around the shade and can be seen from the bed as well as from the desk. It appeals to children who dream of oceans and goes well with a stuffed toy, a poster or a rug in marine colors.

When the light comes on, the drawing is revealed more fully and the light blue becomes brighter. The mood stays serene, ideal for reading as well as for rest. When off, the lamp keeps its freshness and dresses a piece of furniture without crowding it.

A table lamp with a compact format

This compact table lamp measures 44 cm tall and 22.5 cm wide. Narrow, it fits easily on a small nightstand, next to a book and an alarm clock. Its metal stand rests on a 15 cm base, which takes up little space and slips easily onto a shelf or a corner of a desk.

Understated in its lines, the illustrated shade blends with white furniture, light wood or walls in blue or gray tones. In a bedroom with a modern or minimalist style, it adds a note of freshness without overloading the decor. The lamp also suits a baby's room, placed on a piece of furniture out of reach of small hands.

Which bulb for this E27 base bedside lamp?

The SWEET DREAMS lamp works with 1 E27 base bulb, with a maximum power of 60 W. The bulb is not included, which lets you choose the color and intensity of the light. For a bedside, a low-power E27 LED bulb is more than enough: warm white creates a restful atmosphere in the evening, while a more neutral white is better for reading and homework.

Rated IP20, this lamp is intended for the dry rooms of the home. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where to place this table lamp in a child's bedroom?

On the nightstand, this lamp for a child's bedroom accompanies the bedtime story and reassures at the moment of falling asleep. Its light, filtered by the shade, gently lights the book.

On a desk, it lights drawings and first homework. On a dresser or a shelf, it provides accent lighting while getting dressed or tidying up. It is best to set it on a stable surface, with the cable tucked along the furniture, so that it is not pulled down by accident. Paired with a pendant light or a floor lamp, it lets you vary the moods between playtime and rest.

With its whale, its boat and its light blue, white and brown tones, the SWEET DREAMS design table lamp from BPS Koncept brings a breath of the open sea into the bedroom. A light fixture that is easy to fit into a child's decor, and that calms the room as soon as it is turned on.
