The Detail Kit finishing kit for dimmers by Buster + Punch is the knurled solid metal knob that caps one of the brand's dimmer modules. It brings together 1 knob, 1 finishing nut and 1 locking nut, and comes with linear or cross knurling.

This dimmer knob is made of solid metal. The linear knurling, called Linear, is the most recent linear pattern from Buster + Punch. The cross knurling, called Cross, is the crisscross pattern found on the brand's toggle switches.

The box contains 3 parts: 1 knob, 1 finishing nut and 1 locking nut. They are fitted onto the dimmer module once it is installed in its plate.

This finishing kit does not include any electrical parts. The screw covers for the plate are not included either: the brand offers them in a kit for plates, sold separately.

This kit for dimmers is compatible only with Buster + Punch dimmer modules. It does not fit a dimmer from another manufacturer.

To build a custom dimmer, you need 3 items sold separately: a dimmer module, a wall plate with inserts and this kit. The module goes into the plate first, then the kit is fixed onto it. The brand's complete dimmers already come with their finishing kit.

The kit is designed for indoor use and is not suitable for damp environments. Before any work on a dimmer, switch off the power at the circuit breaker. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Knob in brass, steel, smoked bronze, black or white

The knob is available in brass, steel, smoked bronze, black and white. The cross knurling adds a sixth finish, which matches the brand's black models with orange details.

The kit is chosen separately from the plate. You can pick the same finish for a uniform look, or fit a knurled knob in a brass finish on a black plate to make it stand out.

Care is done with a dry, lint-free cloth, without chemical products. With time and use, the finishes may develop a natural patina.
