The Exhaust detail kit from Buster + Punch is a customization kit for Exhaust light fixtures, made up of a solid metal baffle, a honeycomb filter and 2 matching screws. It is available with linear or cross knurling, in brass, steel, burnt steel, gray, smoked bronze or black depending on the knurling.

A solid metal baffle, with linear or cross knurling

The main part of the kit is a solid metal baffle. This is the ring that frames the light opening of the light fixture. According to the brand, it catches the light and gives it a slight metallic sheen.

Two knurling patterns are available for this baffle. The linear knurling, called Linear, is a linear pattern. The cross knurling, called Cross, is a crossed pattern, cut in diamond points.

The box also includes 1 honeycomb filter, which gives a precise, directed, glare-free beam. Lastly, it contains 2 screws matching the chosen finish, Torx screws on the linear version. It contains neither a light fixture nor a bulb.

Customization kit for Exhaust pendant light and spotlights

This customization kit is designed by Buster + Punch for its Exhaust light fixtures. These are the pendant light, the adjustable spotlight, the fixed-head surface-mounted spotlight and the track spotlight. It is the kit originally fitted on these 4 light fixtures, in the corresponding knurling.

It lets you change the finish of the details without replacing the light fixture. A spotlight with steel details can thus switch to brass. The body of the light fixture, for its part, keeps its graphite or stone color.

The kit is sold on its own, and it is fitted with the 2 screws supplied. Switch off the power to the light fixture before any work. The brand specifies that the kit is not suitable for damp environments.

Brass, steel, burnt steel, gray, smoked bronze or black: which finish should you choose?

The linear knurling is available in steel, brass, burnt steel and gray. The cross knurling is available in black, smoked bronze, brass and steel. You can keep the original finish of your light fixture or choose another.

In the color options on this page, brass is named Gold, steel is named Silver and burnt steel is named Multicolor. The name Gray refers to the gray finish on the linear knurling and to smoked bronze on the cross knurling.

The brass finish and smoked bronze add a warm note to a graphite or stone body, while steel remains more neutral. All the finishes develop a patina over time, the brand points out. For care, wipe with a lint-free cloth, without chemicals, as with our other light fixture accessories.
