A surface-mounted ceiling spotlight with a fixed head
This ceiling spotlight is surface-mounted: it is not recessed, and its body remains fully visible below the ceiling. Its head is fixed and cannot be angled. The light therefore falls straight down, along the axis of the cylinder.
At 14.5 cm high by 6 cm in diameter, the Exhaust keeps a slim format. It lines up easily in a row, at regular intervals, above a worktop or along a hallway. Fitted on its own, it lights one precise point in the room.
This fixed version is suitable when the area to be lit is known in advance, such as a table or a passageway. If you prefer to direct the beam, the Exhaust range also includes an adjustable spotlight.
Aluminum spotlight: graphite or stone color
The body of this aluminum spotlight is powder-coated. The graphite color is a dark gray. The stone color, which the brand calls Stone, is a light gray: it is indeed a color, and the light fixture contains no stone.
This color is that of the light fixture itself: it stays the same whatever the finish of the details. On a white ceiling, the light gray stays discreet and lets the metal of the baffle stand out. Graphite gives a darker look.
Solid metal baffle: linear or cross knurling
At the end of the cylinder, the solid metal baffle catches the light and gives off a slight metallic reflection. The linear knurling, called Linear, runs in lines across its outer face and comes with visible Torx screws. The cross knurling, called Cross, is a crossed pattern, paired with slotted screws.
These are the details that change with the finish. The linear knurling comes in steel, brass, burnt steel and gray. The cross knurling comes in black, brass, smoked bronze and steel.
In the color options on this page, the name Gray refers to the gray finish on the linear knurling and to smoked bronze on the cross knurling. The baffle and its screws are also available separately, in a Detail Kit, so that you can change the finish later.
Which GU10 bulb for the Exhaust spotlight?
The spotlight takes 1 LED GU10 bulb of 9 W maximum, which is not included. Buster + Punch offers the Exhaust Bulb GU10, a dimmable LED bulb sold separately, in packs of 3. So plan for the bulb at the same time as the light fixture.
A honeycomb filter, supplied with the spotlight, sits in front of the bulb. It limits glare and gives a precise, directed light.
The spotlight works with a dimmer, provided you choose a compatible bulb. The dimmer is not included.
