An aluminum spotlight in graphite or stone
The body of this aluminum spotlight is covered with a powder paint, in graphite or stone. Graphite is a gray. This shade is that of the light fixture itself: it stays the same whatever finish you choose.
At 6 cm wide by 26.6 cm high, the spotlight keeps a slim format. Several light fixtures can therefore follow one another on the same track without making the whole look heavy. The 2 colors can also follow one another on the same track.
Solid metal baffle: linear or cross knurling
The solid metal baffle comes with machined screws, matched to its finish. The linear knurling, called Linear, is a linear pattern of straight lines. The cross knurling, called Cross, is a crossed pattern that gives the part texture.
The linear knurling comes in steel, brass, burnt steel and gray. The cross knurling comes in steel, black, brass and smoked bronze. All the finishes develop a patina over time.
In the color options on this page, the name Gray refers to the gray finish on the linear knurling and to smoked bronze on the cross knurling. The baffle can also be changed later, with an Exhaust Detail Kit sold separately.
Adjustable spotlight: directed, low-glare light
This adjustable spotlight is fully adjustable, to send the light where you need it. You can aim it at a worktop, a painting, a bookcase or a table. The setting can be changed at any time, if the layout of the room changes.
The spotlight is fitted with a honeycomb filter. This filter gives a precise, directional, low-glare light. The metal baffle catches part of this light and takes on a slight metallic sheen.
This accent lighting suits a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a hallway, an office or a bedroom. On the same track, each spotlight can be turned in a different direction.
3-circuit track: what to check before you buy
The spotlight comes with a black adapter for a 3-circuit track. The track itself is not part of the box contents: it is bought separately. The spotlight can only be used on a 3-circuit track system.
This point matters, because the adapter does not work on a standard 1-circuit track, where all the spotlights come on together. On a 3-circuit track, several groups of spotlights can be controlled separately, by different switches. So check the type of your track, or of the one you plan to install, before ordering.
The light fixture is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. The spotlight operates at a voltage of 220 to 240 V.
Which GU10 bulb for the Exhaust track spotlight?
The spotlight takes 1 LED GU10 bulb of 9 W maximum, which is not included. Buster + Punch offers its own bulb with this base, the Exhaust Bulb GU10, a 7 W LED sold separately in packs of 3. Keep the same bulb on all the spotlights on a track, for even light.
The Exhaust range includes other spotlights, fixed or adjustable, to be fitted on the ceiling. You can therefore put together lighting that matches the rest of the room. To clean it, wipe with a lint-free cloth, with no chemical products.
