The Forked glass globe from Buster + Punch is a replacement globe in mouth-blown glass, designed for the brand's Forked ceiling light and pendant light. It measures 20 cm in diameter by 19.8 cm high in the medium model, 29 cm in diameter by 28.8 cm high in the large model, and comes in opal glass or smoked glass.

A blown glass globe, 20 or 29 cm in diameter

This blown glass globe is mouth-blown, like all the globes in the Forked range. It comes in 2 sizes. The medium model measures 20 cm in diameter and 19.8 cm high, the large model 29 cm in diameter and 28.8 cm high.

These are the measurements of the globe originally fitted on Forked light fixtures of the same size. So you get the same volume once the part has been replaced. The globe remains the most visible part of the light fixture, whether on or off.

The globe is sold on its own. The metal frame, the lamp holder and the bulb are not part of the package.

Opal glass or smoked glass: which globe should you choose?

The opal glass globe is white and milky: it diffuses the light all around it, for soft, even lighting. In the color options on this page, it is named White.

The smoked glass globe is tinted gray. It filters part of the light and gives a more subdued, ambient lighting. It is named Gray, and its shape and dimensions are those of the opal glass.

Each glass has its own bulb. Buster + Punch provides the opal Punch Bulb Forked for an opal globe and the smoked Buster Bulb Forked for a smoked globe. These are 2 dimmable E27 LED bulbs of 5 W, sold separately: no bulb is included with the globe.

Replacement globe for Forked ceiling light and pendant light

This replacement globe is intended for the 2 Forked light fixtures from Buster + Punch: the ceiling light and the pendant light. It replaces a cracked or broken globe without having to change the whole light fixture. Choose the size of your light fixture, medium model or large model, and remember to change the bulb if you choose a glass different from the original.

The globe is fitted once the light fixture is in place. The brand's instructions say to keep the light fixture perfectly vertical during fitting and not to overtighten the globe, so as not to damage the light fixture. Switch off the power before changing the bulb or cleaning the glass.

For care, wipe with a lint-free cloth, without chemicals. This globe joins our other light fixture accessories from the brand.
