It measures from 9 cm by 9 cm in 1 gang to 30.3 cm by 9 cm in 4 gang, takes 1 module in 45 mm format per gang and comes in black, brass, smoked bronze, steel and white.

A metal wall plate, from 1 to 4 gang

The face of this metal wall plate combines stainless steel and polycarbonate. It is finished with the solid metal slotted screws that are the signature of Buster + Punch plates. Once fitted, it leaves a 6.5 mm shadow gap with the wall.

The 1 gang plate measures 9 cm by 9 cm and can be chosen with the brand's logo or with no marking at all. The 2, 3 and 4 gang plates are horizontal and have no logo. They are 16.1 cm, 23.2 cm and 30.3 cm wide and 9 cm high.

Plate without inserts: which socket and which modules?

This wall socket plate is sold without adapter inserts. Each gang directly takes 1 module in 45 mm format, that is, a socket or a data module from the brand. The box contains 1 plate and 2 slotted screw covers, and the modules are ordered separately.

For example, you can fit the French type E socket, the USB module, the RJ45 module, the TV module, the HDMI module or the telephone module. All are in 45 mm format.

Toggle switches and dimmers cannot be fitted to this plate. They require the plate with inserts, available in the same formats.

Fitting on a wall box, use and finishes

The plate is fitted to a European standard wall box, installed flush with the wall. The depth required depends on the modules chosen and should be checked before installation. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

It is designed for indoor use and is not suitable for damp environments. It is at home in a living room, an office, a bedroom or a kitchen, away from splashing water. To clean it, wipe with a dry, lint-free cloth, with no chemical products.

The black wall plate and the white version blend into the wall. Brass and smoked bronze bring a warmer note, while steel stays neutral. As with every wall plate from the brand, these finishes may develop a patina with time and use.
